2016 National Awards & Scholarships

Junior Achievement New Brunswick is pleased to announce that Moncton Company Program Student, Matt Magee has been awarded the 2016 JA Canada National TD Canada Trust Fund Scholarship!

A proud Junior Achiever for the past two years, Matt is the epitome of dedication and hard work. Matt joined the Junior Achievement Company Program in Moncton when he entered grade 11 at L'Odyssée.  In his two years in the Company Program, Matt attributes his increase in self-confidence to his time at JA.  Holding increasing levels of responsibility during his involvement helped him to learn to work with a team and the basics of starting his own business.

Thanks to his participation in our program, Matt will be attending the New Brunswick Community College in the Fall to study business.  JA New Brunswick is proud to have had such an impact on Matt's life and we wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.

JA New Brunswick Announces Keynote Speaker in Moncton

Junior Achievement New Brunswick is pleased to announce the 2016 JA Moncton Futures Unlimited Banquet Keynote Speaker, Renée Warren, Founder & CEO of Onboardly.

A successful founder, passionate marketer and self-proclaimed ‘geek in stilettos,’ Renée helps emerging brands and their founders gain visibility through Demand Marketing, a term created by Onboardly to describe the marriage of PR, Content Marketing and Influencer (Social) Relations.

Renée is obsessed with entrepreneurship. Since the age of 17, her focus has been on building and growing companies. From the first restaurant she started as a teenager to Onboardly today - Renée is always challenging the status quo, pushing to take things to the next level.

As a leading content creator and curator, Renée has a keen eye for design and insists on perfection in both work delivery and branding. She believes every piece of work she turns out needs to pass an extremely high filter, and she refuses to settle for anything less.

She knows that the best way to build relationships is to connect with them on a personal level - by teaching, inspiring and collaborating. As a result, she invests a ton of time into travel and experiences to help her continue to grow both as an entrepreneur and community leader.

Renée believes in living a full and passionate life and is highly regarded as an overachiever both personally and professionally. As a mom of two young boys born within the same year, supportive wife to a fellow entrepreneur and successful founder in her own right - she proves you can have it all. (It just takes a *really* awesome scheduling system and an attitude to do it.
